Ciao, sono Salvo Toscano

I am a photographer currently based in Milan, Italy. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, families, companies, and non-profits. My commercial work is commissioned for various uses, from corporate websites and anniversary books to annual reports, brochures, and business premises displays. I also cover commercial portraits and publicity photos for public bodies, charities, and artists.

Alongside my commercial work, I am deeply involved in personal projects. After a significant stay in the United Kingdom, I relocated to Milan in 2021, toward the end of the Coronavirus pandemic. Here, I’ve been exploring and documenting the local surrounding space and scenery, with a focus on themes such as identity, memory, and the connections between people and the spaces they inhabit. My personal work is driven by these emotional and reflective explorations, attempting to capture the interplay between environment and experience.
